Education floor

Administrator-in-Training hours

650 to 2,000 hours depending on your degree

• 650 hours: Baccalaureate (or 60+ semester hours) in health care or health-services administration, plus a 650-hour internship at a skilled nursing facility of 60+ beds under a board-approved preceptor.
• 1,000 hours: Baccalaureate in any field, plus a 1,000-hour Administrator-in-Training program (or a baccalaureate plus one year of qualifying management experience and a 1,000-hour AIT program).
• 2,000 hours: Baccalaureate in any field, plus a 2,000-hour Administrator-in-Training program.

National NAB exams
